Price includes:
Transfers: from/to Budapest Airport, guide services (and the good advices).
Accommodation: 3 nights in 2* and 4 nights in country-inns.
Transportation: by microbus or car, depending on the number of travellers. The baggage transportation is provided by the microbus for the entire tour.
Meals: 7 breakfasts and 2 dinners.
Entry fees to: Scarisoara Ice Cave, Rusty Pit, Rosia Montana - Roman's Drifts, The Museum of Gold in Brad, Corvinestilor Castle, The Ox Reservation in Hateg, Deva Citadel, Ramet Gorges, Coltesti Citadel, Scarita Belioara, Huda lui Papara Cave, Turzii Gorges Reservation, Dracula's Castle in Borgo Pass, The Craftsman in Sacel, Rooster Ridge, The Communist Prison, The Monument of Imprisoned Thoughts, The Merry Cemetery.

Customized Tour:

Here is an itinerary to your taste but the departure dates are not suitable or you don’t like to travel with big groups. Don’t worry! You can take it as a private journey, with the preferred departure dates and your chosen travel companions, whether it is for a family vacation or a fun relaxing holiday with a small group of friends. The prices above are based on buying the itinerary as listed on tour page. We can customize the tour to meet your exact travel needs: change hotels, shorten or lengthen the tour. For any customization implying a new base itinerary, a tailor made fee of GBP 159 - USD 310 +VAT (EURO 240 + VAT) is required and will be added to the tour cost.

Please note that customized tours can take up to two weeks to ensure that all your requirements are met and that you are satisfied with the tour, so please plan in advance.

For private tours based on 1 to 2 people travelling together, a standard European car will be provided. For private tours based on 4 people travelling together, a more spacious off road vehicle will be provided.

Note:
Prices may be subject to changes based on currency fluctuation, availability issues or changes in local costs at the time of booking. Group discounts could be applied depending on the size of the group.

Also, please note that the itinerary could suffer small changes, as some activities require a minimum number of tourists. Depending on the number of tourists we will make any such changes at the time of booking.

Special notes & info:

The itinerary is flexible. Bad weather conditions, fitness, accidents and other local conditions could change the itinerary.

What do you have to bring:
Hiking boots, raincoat; in day 2, 4, 5 and 7 you’ll have to pack your lunch and in the rest of the days you can choose a restaurant for lunch.

Add-on program:
Extra nights can be booked at hotel in Budapest in the last day of the tour.

Weather:
Daytime temperature should be in range of 25-30 Celsius, night time temperatures; especially on the mountain sections are cooler. However the weather is very changeable, so you should expect temperatures less than 10 Celsius and snow falls even in July on mountain section.
